Well I made it home. It has been a long weekend but what a great time. Thaks to Jay and all for putting on such a great event at a great place like the  CMP (Carolina Motor Park). Just a great place to have our event. Look forward to doing this again next year.

I haven't gotten any photos from Travis yet but when I do I will post them. To make up for a flawless running car they had a trailer blow out a tire and a truck blow out a tire on the way home. Talk about a tough trip. I'll wait till tomorrow to see if I can post pictures.

looking at the website info I see a pretty big spike yesterday and today. Sorry I didn't get up any info during the Race. Next year we will need to have a full time web person on this so the fans can share the experience. As you saw on the main page we placed 2nd in class and 10th overall. If you told me Friday that we would place 10th at this race I would say I wouldn't believe you. But after Saturday's rise to 4th place overall it was a bit of dissapoint to slip to 10th. You can read some of the other articles about it but lets just say when the rain stop saturday the teams were running a lot harder, more aggresive, and faster. The car ran great but it picked up a few bumps and bruises from some other racers, as well as an introduction to the tire wall  and well we had to make a few unscheduled stops to talk with the Lemon guys about it. Needless to saay it was a busy day. It was a great race and I'm exhausted. It's about 15 till 11pm and I'm at the hotel in Savanah and will head back Monday. Tell the Boss I'll be late. I'm sleeping in.

good night

greeting's from Kershaw, SC..... Travis and his father were here last night and were all set this morning for some testing runs. They both did great and I was able to get here in time for the last couple of 20 minute sessions to try my hand..... we had a good time running the track. Travis was intervied by a local tv station out of Columbia, SC channel 10 as he was crawling out of the car after a great run. We also had tons of pics taken from several news outlets and we should have some great ones ourselves up tonight depending on how slow our connection is going to be. Just a great time to be here right. Lot's of fast and slow cars , pros and joes, etc. Jay and the guys at 24 hours of lemon were great as we went through tech and the bribes seem to work. Right now it is a late night with crews still showing up and a few guys working on the cars with the rest drinking and talking. good group of guys and it is always good to have allies out on the track. We are expecting 82 cars out on the track. Speaking of the track what a great Track. I'll link them in our links section. They did a great job with us here and we have been having a great time. Look forward to a good run tomorrow with our Team leader setting the tone with the first shift followed by the Slacker, the mentor, and the P-man. Also speaking of the P-man we didn't give enough love to Freightliner for the use of the RV. WOW... Way to nice for us Lemon guys but who would turn down an upgrade to a suite. Pictures will come soon. have a great night and we will try to update during the race tomorrow. Thanks for Following along.

well on our way to the race track we got side tracked at the Crab shack in Savanah, GA for dinner followed by us deciding to stay the night close to here. I talked with Travis who along with his Father (the Mentor) has arrived safely in Kershaw after 1 flat on the truck and 1 flat on the car carrier. true Lemon fasion if I do say so myself. they have set the pit up getting ready for the Race. I'm preparing in my own way (see above picture). I'll be in around the track around 11am or so tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the track and meeting the organizers. We got some shirts and hats before we head through tech with our pimp mobile. We look forward to some good clean Lemon racing. :-)
